This Floral Design class was created to help prepare students to become a Floral Designer Assistant. After some hands on training in a working flower shop over a period of time, the supervisor/manager of the shop will determine when the assistant is ready to transition to a Floral Designer. If you are considering a career in Floral Design, it is strongly encouraged to take both series of classes offered. Once both series have been completed, although employment is not guaranteed, Floral Expressions will assist with job placement. Please take note of registration deadlines listed for each class.

Week 1- Preparation of flowers, containers, placement of greenery and create a small colonial bouquet.

Week 2- Make a traditional funeral arrangement

Week 3- Observe a casket spray and an easel spray demonstration

Students must bring a knife, scissors and wire cutters to every class or these items can be purchased from the shop for an additional fee of $25. Note: Due to the perishable items used in these classes, NO refunds will be given once classes have begun. Due to the time necessary to order supplies, registration deadline for class is March 27th.

Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 1 payments of $100.00, paid every two weeks
