RUSTIC PUMPKIN WOOD PAINTING

Farmhouse décor is in full swing! The Rustic pumpkin fits in beautifully! Participants will use a pattern to paint the pumpkin on a 10 x 12 wooden board. Once painted, the picture will be distressed to look aged. Twine will be wrapped around the picture for more depth as a finishing touch. No experience needed and beginners welcome. All supplies provided, bring a $6 lab fee to be paid to the instructor.

NOTE: Final product will vary based on instructors discretion.

SANTA CHARGER PLATE PAINTING

Calendar Dec 4, 2019 at 6 pm, runs for 2 weeks

Cookies left out for Santa will make him smile when he sees this beautiful plate with his potrait on it! During this two week session participants will learn to paint the face of Santa. Using a basic pattern students will transfer the image on the charger and be instucted step by step how to bring this image to life. This class is for those who have painted before. If you have brushes please bring them and a $6 lab fee to be paid to the instructor.

NOTE: picture shown is a retail product used for example only and NOT the final hand painted craft students will produce in class.

 

 

SPRINGING SNOWMAN

This snowy friend is hot on the trend of rusty bed springs! You will transform a rusty bed spring into a darling snowman by creating a head, hat and scarf. Embelishments with buttons and a carrotlike nose will be used to finish him off! Some basic sewing with needle and thread is required. Please bring a glue gun with glue sticks and 1/8 of a yard of polar fleece for the hat and scarf. All other supplies will be provided for a lab fee of $6.

Note: The final product may not be identicle to picture, scarf will be added along with a different type of hat.

NOTE: THERE HAVE BEEN DATE CHANGES TO THIS CLASS. THE NEW DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:  NOV 21ST, DEC 5TH, DEC 12TH & DEC 19TH. (No Class on November 28th due to Thanksgiving).

To begin a Swedish weave project, all you need is yarn, weaving needle, a pattern and monk’s cloth. That's it! It is so easy to learn and simple to do which makes it the best needlecraft ever! Students will create a holiday themed table runner approximately 60 L x 22 W. Bring a $17 lab fee to be paid to instructor to cover materials. Weaving needles will be supplied and available to purchase for an additional fee if desired.  LIMIT 10

VINTAGE GIFT TAGS

WHITE WASHED COUNTRY WELCOME SIGN

White wash and letter a beautiful country welcome sign for your home in one evening. Your supplies including the sign, paint and brushes will be provided. Bring ribbon or embellishments of your choice, a glue gun and a $10 lab fee to be paid to the instructor.

WOOL EMBROIDERY - BEGINNERS

Embroidery can be a very relaxing and fun craft to learn. Using wool, students will learn the different stitches and techniques used in embroidery. You will be given a kit with all the supplies for your project however, any special colors of floss should be brought by the student along with scissors and needles. Please bring a $15 lab fee to be paid to the instructor to cover materials.  (No class 11/28)
