Our Jr. Trojans Cheer program for grades 3rd-6th is designed to introduce young athletes to the exciting world of cheerleading while focusing on building strength, flexibility, and teamwork. This program emphasizes basic cheer skills such as cheers, chants, and jumps, along with developing confidence and leadership qualities. Participants will learn to work as a team, improve coordination, and perform in a positive and supportive environment. Whether they’re new to cheer or looking to improve, this program offers a welcoming and encouraging space for all young cheerleaders!

Practices will begin Mid-August. Informational Meeting info COMING SOON!

You will also need to purchase a uniform, bow, poms, & sweatshirt. We will be using the same as last season

Grades 3-6 - Info Meetings: 4/23 OR 4/25 6-7:30pm @ MMS Auditorium. If unable to attend, visit the Community Education office to get fitted for a jersey. You can modify sizing after registration by contacting the Community Ed office (dowen@monroe.k12.mi.us).Costs cover jersey, use of helmet & pads, & operational costs (field rental fees, refs, replacement equipment, etc.) MHSAA Physical required for first practice, mouthguards required. Program is supported by Monroe First Downers. Optional Conditioning: Wk of Aug 4, practices begin wk of Aug 11th. Season ends late October. Practices will be held at Arborwood South, games various locations.
