AMISH KNOT RAG RUG - (Spring)

Have you ever wanted an old fashion rag rug, but could not afford it? Come take my class and learn what fabrics you should use, how to prepare the fabric, the technique of making the "Amish Knots" and of course, how to make a rug! We will be creating a small round rug that you can take home with you and add to if you would like it bigger!Each student will receive a "needle", fabric, and a small round coaster size circle to start with. Please bring a $20 lab fee to be paid to the instructor. LIMIT 10

HORSEBACK ENGLISH RIDING LESSONS - (Spring)

Are you horse crazy? Do you have a passion for anything “horses”? Come and experience the wonderful world of riding. Students will learn the fundamentals of English style riding. Hands on grooming, tacking and riding instruction provided by experienced instructors on our seasoned school horses. Please wear jeans or long pants and shoes or boots with a ½-inch heel. Safety helmets provided. Classes fill quickly so register early!  Instructor will go over the rest of the class dates at the first class.  Grades K-12. LIMIT 5

PARENT/TOT SWIM - (Spring)

Calendar Apr 15, 2025 at 5 pm, runs for 5 weeks

Ages: 0 - 4

This class will teach your child to love the water. By accompanying your child in the water, you will allow them to feel safe and secure while giving them respect for it. Spend time with your tot while having fun teaching them a valuable lesson.  (6 months to 4 years old)

ADULT SPRING WATERCOLOR PAINTING - (Spring)

$20

Come and learn some different techniques used in watercolor painting. This will be the perfect picture for Spring. If you have a favorite paint brush, bring it with you. All brushes, canvases, paints and stencils will be provided. Bring an $8 lab fee to be paid to the teacher the night of class.

ABC'S OF MEDICARE - (Spring)

This free informational session explains the ABC’s regarding your rights and options with Medicare. We will add more detailed information on prescription medications for Medicare Seniors. This class is not affiliated with CMS or the federal government and is run by a non-profit agency called Sociably Secure.  NOTE: This will be taught on-line only, a link will be emailed to all students prior to the start date which will allow you access to the class.

KIDS JIU JITSU - (May)

All kids are welcome to Monroe Jiu Jitsu to learn tips, techniques, & strategies to help them become stronger, more confident, and to better their ability to stick up for themselves if needed. From the beginner to the advanced - all kids (ages 10 & up) are welcome to join. No uniform is required, but once you start training consistently, purchasing a Gi is recommended.
