PUPPY TRAINING/GOOD MANNERS

NOTE: You pay $130 per dog only, additional family members can attend free.

The AKC S.T.A.R.™ Puppy Program rewards responsible owners who take the time to train and socialize their new puppies. This program is the puppy level of the AKC’s well-known Canine Good Citizen® program. “S.T.A.R.” stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner, all of the things a puppy needs to have a good life. This class is for any puppy, breed or mix under 7 months. Please bring health records with puppy on a 6-foot lead to first class. Retractable leads not allowed.

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN/THERAPY DOG PREP

NOTE: You pay $130 per dog only, additional family members can attend free.

The AKC Canine Good Citizen test is the foundation for therapy dog training. This class is based on teaching and training dogs with their handlers through positive reinforcement. We will prepare for evaluation and assessment for therapy dog work. Please bring health records and your pet on a 6-foot lead to class. The evaluation and certification for the AKC title will be a separate fee. Retractable leads not allowed.

ABC'S OF MEDICARE

This free informational session explains the ABC’s regarding your rights and options with Medicare. We will add more detailed information on prescription medications for Medicare Seniors. This class is not affiliated with CMS or the federal government and is run by a non-profit agency called Sociably Secure.  NOTE: This will be taught on-line only, a link will be emailed to all students prior to the start date which will allow you access to the class.

KNITTING-INTERMEDIATE - PLUS

Let’s have fun going a step further and get into a more advanced knitting PLUS class! This class will build on some NEW techniques. Let’s make a Christmas Stocking. You will need 1 skein each of Red, Green and White yarn, Size 7 (5) double point needles and a stitch marker. This advanced project will be made just in time for the Holidays.

Classes are private 1-hour sessions (day/times may vary)

$30 per lesson

This one hour of private instruction time will teach you the basics of reading and playing music. Books and materials may be purchased from the instructor. Classes are scheduled on the hour. The instructor will set up the day and time of the lessons.

Learn the fundamentals of playing drums in the style of your choice; be it rock, blues, country or jazz. In addition to learning basic drumbeats and fills, the student will also learn to read notation and be taught to recognize and play different types of counts. An excellent class that you will really enjoy! Come and give that rock star inside of you a chance to shine!

BEGINNING CROCHET - Youth

Starts: Nov 2, 9, 16 & 23   

Let's dive into the world of crochet! Bring in an "I" Hook along with a 4-weight cotton yarn. (Both can be purchased at Knit-Picky & Hooked). Students will learn foundations, chains and single crochet.
